| | What are your payment terms? | We accept Discover, Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Android Pay, and cash.
| | What about Shipping? | We can ship most items to you. It really depends on what you're buying. We typically ship via UPS. Prices vary by shipping company and weight and sometimes destination. The customer pays for shipping.
| | What about returns? | We are aware that guitars are an individual choice, and we strive to provide the best products at the best price. We also offer customers a chance to approve their purchases, so we offer the following return policy:
Garrett Park Music offers customers the opportunity to approve any item which is purchased and then shipped. This allows 48 hours to inspect and settle on the purchase once you take possession of the item.
If an item is to be returned, verbal notification must be given within 48 hours of receipt of the item; GPM then issues an authorization, which will result in the carrier picking the item up.
Items should be carefully packed, to insure against breakage, and should be returned in the same condition as shipped. New items must be returned in new condition (special attention to warranties being unsigned, all paperwork, plastic still remains on pickguard and all parts).
We cannot accept returns for harmonicas, microphones, or other items that require play by mouth.
Upon notification the item must be returned within 7 days. Shipping cost are the customer's responsibility (both ways) and will be deducted from the refund amount. Insurance claims are the customer's responsibility.
| | What about layaways? | Items may be put on layaway for future purchase as follows: 30% deposit, balance in 60 days. No refunds on layaways. If a customer cannot execute the balance on the layaway within the specified 60 days, a late charge of 18% will be applied to the unpaid balance until paid.
| | What about repairs? | Repairs are done as a customer service. Notification on repairs requiring an estimate must be provided when the repair is left at GPM. Work must begin on an item 15 days after estimate notification or picked up by the customer at GPM. Some repair work is performed by qualified repair staff off GPM premises.
Repairs left after 45 days of notification of completion may be sold under the provisions of Maryland law to recoup labor and parts costs associated with said repair.
| | What other services does GPM offer? | GPM offers lessons for all skill levels, our teachers are trained, skilled instrumentalists capable of beginner to advanced training. Offering 1-on-1 lessons and Rock Ensemble classes to all aspiring students.
GPM has a complete repair service offering repair for guitar, bass, and guitar amplifiers. In addition, GPM can restore vintage equipment from very minor to complete rebuilding.
GPM offers appraisals for all types of guitars, basses, amplifiers, and related music gear. If you are unsure if we would appraise your instrument, give us a call at 410-571-5060 to consult.
GPM accepts consignments for sale of used and collectable instruments; a fee is charged based on the final retail price of the piece. This service is highly effective as GPM has an extensive outlet for guitars and guitar equipment.
GPM has an extensive inventory of parts for guitars and amplifiers; a list of these parts is available on the main menu of our web-page and GPG maintains a thorough want file for parts.
