1976 Jose Ramirez Estudio Blue Label

For your conisderation, Garrett Park Music presents this 1976 Jose Ramirez Estudio Blue Label Classical Guitar.

In excellent playing condition, this Estudio classical guitar wears its age well and boasts deep, compelling tone. Likely built by Ramirez's journeyman luthiers (hence the blue label), this guitar is a truly wonderful handmade instrument with powerful, ringing sustain and fantastic per-string articulation. The guitar does show some wear including a crack by the neck that was repaired at one point and is holding strong, as well as a few nicks on the top of the guitar and a new saddle. Fortunately, none of these blemishes affect the superb playability and tone of this Estudio. Crafted with solid cedar over beautifully figured mahogany back and sides, this classical has a well-balanced tone with excellent articulation and resonance for a highly compelling tone which has only improved as the guitar has aged over its 50-year life. The action is right to spec, sitting at 2/32" at the first fret and 4/32" at the 12th with plenty of room to take the saddle down if desired and feels very comfortable to play. The neck profile is a deep D-shape and appears to be mahogany with a rosewood veneer on the front of the headstock, nut width is 2 1/8" (53mm). All-in-all, this is a fantastic classical guitar with plenty of life to it and it includes its original hardshell case with the original owner documentation.
