This 1980s Minstrel is a rare, vintage dreadnought acoustic guitar handcrafted in Quebec, Canada, by legendary luthier Robert Godin. Built under his early LaSiDo company banner before he consolidated his brands, this instrument serves as the direct, raw blueprint for what would eventually become the world-famous Seagull S6 guitar line. Only 6,000 of these guitars were produced between 1985 and 1992.

This Minstrel features a rare gloss finish, setting it apart from the more common satin finish these guitars usually have, as well as a bolt-on neck which was a staple of early Godin/Seagull guitars. The neck is a comfortable C-shape to move around on, making it an easy-playing instrument and great for players of all skill levels. In addition to being in excellent condition, this Minstrel boasts great sustain and definition between the treble and bass. This guitar comes with a period correct chipboard case.
