1981 Fender FC-10 Classical Guitar
For your consideration, Garrett Park Music presents this 1981 Fender FC-10 Classical Guitar.
Part of Fender's flat-top series through the 1970s, this FC-10 features a wide, flat neck, a compact body, and classic slotted tuners typical of Spanish-style guitars. This 1981 model is in very good condition with very few signs of wear. The only items of note are a crack in the high E roller (pictured) and some finger divots in the cowboy chord positions, but these quirks do not affect tuning or playability. Key specifications include a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, a rosewood fretboard, and a 25.5-inch scale length. Currently strung with mid-tension 80/20 bronze nylon strings.
A great player, this FC-10 has a fantastic tonal balance, boasting deep bass and chiming trebles in addition to its excellent sustain and resonance that can be felt throughout the guitar's body. The neck profile is a flat D-shape with a rosewood fingerboard and a nut width of 2 & 1/4" (2.025in/51.435mm) for a traditional playing experience. There is some minor play wear present but this guitar is in overall great cosmetic shape with no breaks or major repairs. Includes a gigbag for ease of transport.
