2023 Gibson J-45 Standard

For your consideration, Garrett Park Music presents this 2023 Gibson J-45 Standard.

Nicknamed "The Workhorse" and first introduced in 1942, Gibson's most popular round-shoulder dreadnought guitar, the J-45 is world-renowned for its full balanced expression warm bass and excellent projection. This 2023 standard model is a great player with deep tone; it shows some minor play wear and is free of any breaks or major repairs. The saddle was professionally shimmed with hardwood by local certified luthier Jim Cunningham and the action is sitting right where it should be with a heighth of 2/32" at the first fret and 4/32" at the twelfth for both bass and treble side. This dreadnought acoustic offers a suberb range of tone with deep bass and articulate trebles thanks to the solid spruce top over solid mahogany back and sides for a tried-and-true classic acoustic tone. The neck profile is closer to a medium C-shape harkening back to the classic J-45s, and is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. A stock LR Baggs pickup rounds out the features of this guitar, allowing you to plug in for larger sound or for studio processing with onboard volume and tone controls. This is a great modern example of a J-45 guitar and includes its original hardshell case and pictured case candy.
