1994 Guild B4CE-NT Acoustic Bass
For your consideration, Garrett Park Music presents this 1994 Guild B4CE-NT acoustic bass guitar.
This beautiful Guild acoustic bass is so fun to play. Made in the USA in pre-Fender era, it's a lightweight and thinner version of Guild B4 bass. Great sounding as unplugged acoustic or as plugged in electric. Despite being over 30 years old, this bass in in very good shape, with no major breaks or repairs. The only notes being the absence of the heel cap trim (as pictured), along with a small crack near the heel and one near the soundhole (also pictured and some finish checking in the nitrocellulose lacquer top). Despite the wear, this acoustic bass is still thumping along nicely with no issues affecting playability. The original saddle has also never been touched, leaving plenty of room to lower the action if desired; we've opted not to shave the saddle down as the bass is playable with no buzzing as-is.
Featuring a solid spruce top, mahogany set-neck with rosewood fretboard and Grover tuners, mahogany sides and grained carved mahogany back, this bass has a deep, authoratative tone that sits nicely in a mix. Further tonal shaping is available via the onboard 4-band (bass, middle, treble, brilliance) Guild-Fishman Transducer pickup with a 9-volt preamp, phase shifter and volume control. Measurements come to 3 1/8" thick, 30 1/2" scale length, 5/8" wide at the nut, and it weighs under 6 lbs! Comes in its original Guild hardshell case.
