This well loved bass was part of a collection owned by a local musician who bought the bass new in the mid 80's and gigged with it on and off for decades. There is some evidence of wear on the sides of the body but the bass is otherwise in very good, original condition and even maintains the original mutes per saddle. Finished in a striking Candy Apple finish, this Stingray is sure to turn heads.

A great player, this 1986 Stingray features a maple neck with a nice C-shaped carve reminiscent of a Precision bass, with the rosewood fingerboard offering 21 frets to the body. Classic, authoritative bass tones are this Stingray's specialty with a powerful fundamental tone that can be further sculpted with the onboard preamp's bass and treble controls. From Precision, to Jazz, and even beyond, this Stingray is suited for the job. Weighing in at 9lb 9oz, this bass is on the lighter side and includes the original hardshell case.
