1990s Modified Samick 5-String Bass
For your consideration, Garrett Park Music presents this 1990s Samick 5 String Bass with mods.
In great shape with a bit of play wear and a few upgrades, this Samick bass plays smoothly with solid low end response. Mods include upgraded EMG pickups with an additional battery compartment routed next to the output jack & an active/passive switch with indicator light, upgraded Kahler bridge, and rhinestone side inlays up to the 12th fret. The added battery compartment's 9v attachment is broken and will need to be replaced but the bass still has a great passive tone. The EMG pickups offer a nicely defined punch and the active/passive switch ensures you can still play even without batteries. While all three pickups can be used simultaneously (neck & bridge with the first volume knob, middle with the second volume knob), the neck and middle pickups are a bit weak on the treble strings and the low B. The slim C neck profile will be comfortable to most players, with easy access to almost any position thanks to the ergonomic cutaways. Includes the original hardshell case.
Condition: Good
