2010s Strymon Flint - Reverb & Tremolo
For your consideration, Garrett Park Music presents this 2010s Strymon Flint Reverb & Tremolo Pedal
The Strymon Flint is a dual-effect, studio-class pedal that delivers three classic tremolo and three unique reverb algorithms inspired by vintage amplifiers and studio rack units of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. It is a popular choice for guitarists seeking authentic, high-quality vintage tones in a pedalboard-friendly format.
Tremolo Effects
Speed knobs and a three-way toggle switch for selecting the type.
- '61 Harmonic Tremolo: This mode uses a dual-band filtering effect, alternately emphasizing low and high frequencies, creating a soothing, almost phase-like pulse.
- '63 Power Tube Tremolo: This emulation captures the "swampy" and "sultry" bias modulation effect of brownface-era amplifiers, which influenced the power tube bias to create fluctuating gain and subtle harmonic distortion.
Reverb Effects
- '60s Spring Tank Reverb: A faithful recreation of the full-size, two-spring reverb tanks common in vintage amps, known for its "splashy," organic sound and complex early reflections.
- '70s Electronic Plate Reverb: This mode emulates the rich, smooth, and quickly building density of early solid-state electronic plate reverbs using multiple delay lines and filtered feedback paths.
