2010s Tech 21 RK5 Richie Kotzen Multi-Effect Pedal
For your consideration, Garrett Park Music presents this 2010s Tech 21 RK5 FlyRig Richie Kotzen Multi-Effect Pedal.
This Tech 21 RK5 Richie Kotzen Multi-Effect Pedal is in excellent shape with everything you need to get stadium rock tones. Unlike many digital multi-effects units, the RK5 is known for its all-analog signal path for the preamp and drive sections which allows the pedal to offer massive tonality for such a small pedal. The OMG section gives you classic Boost and Distortion control, the AMP section is basically a miniaturized Tech 21 SansAmp with reverb, and the DLA gives excellent digital delay tones that can go into self oscillation at higher feedback settings. If all of that isn't enough, the pedal can also function as a tuner if you hold down the reverb footswitch. For easy, all-in-one stadium tonality, the RK5 is hard to beat in terms of value and size. Includes the original carrying tin and power supply.
Key features of the RK5:
OMG Overdrive: Based on Kotzen's signature OMG pedal, this all-analog circuit is designed for dynamic, Class A tube-style overdrive and is especially well-suited for blues and classic rock tones.
Boost: A powerful, dedicated clean boost of up to 21dB can be engaged to push solos or add extra saturation.
SansAmp Section: The pedal's core is the SansAmp, an analog tube amplifier emulator based on Kotzen's clean tone, with 3-band active EQ and controls for Level and Drive. This section can be used to go directly into a PA system or to augment a traditional amp.
Reverb: The RK5 features an analog reverb designed to emulate a classic spring reverb.
Delay: A tap-tempo delay section offers a wide range of vintage tape-style delay times. It includes a "Drift" control that added a random, unpredictable modulation for an organic, tape-like effect.
Tuner: A simple, built-in chromatic tuner is available by holding down the footswitch for the reverb effect.
