The Chase Tone '68 Red Velvet Fuzz is a highly versatile, modern take on the classic 1968 Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face circuit, specifically the BC183C silicon transistor version. It's celebrated for delivering the warm, smooth, and harmonically rich characteristics often associated with sought-after germanium fuzzes, but with the temperature stability and reliability of silicon transistors. The pedal is designed to feel like a cranked, blooming tube amplifier that is highly responsive to playing dynamics and the guitar's volume knob, allowing for a seamless transition from pristine clean sounds to a thick, singing fuzz.

Featuring the necessary volume and fuzz controls, this pedal also gives you control over the bass + mids as well as a feel control that shapes the fuzz bias from breakup tones to ripped velcro / dying battery fuzz. These additional controls not only help to shape the fuzz's tone, but can also be used to remove any unwanted feedback or oscillations when using wahs or buffered pedals. In excellent condition, this pedal also comes with its original box.
