In excellent shape with some minor play wear, this 2005 Gibson Firebird studio sports the rare alpine white finish exactly like Dave Grohl's, and features an upgraded pair of 80s DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucking pickups. A no-frills version of the classic Gibson Firebird, this Firebird studio features a nicely balanced offset body with superb sustain and resonance which is further accented by the dual DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups. Weighing in at 8lb 6oz, this example is on the lighter side for these 'birds. The neck profile is a nicely carved C shape topped with an ebony fingerboard that perfectly balances playability with heft for a solid, yet easy-playing experience over the guitar's 24.75" scale length. A true joy to play and oozing with tone, this Firebird includes its original hardshell case.
