Built at Gibson's Nashville plant to capture the mojo of the original Goldtop Les Pauls with a 1960s inspired neck carve. There is a bit of wear on the headstock but the guitar is otherwise very clean. Immediately playable and downright gnarly, this 1960 Classic delivers superb tone from the dual humbuckers that can conjure up tones from Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Kiss, and other classic rockers. The 1960s neck profile is on the slimmer side and will be comfortable to most players looking for a fast and smooth carve. Weighing in at 9lb 12oz, this Les Paul has a similar weight to many original Goldtops and thus offers very similar sustain and resonance. This classic comes with a pair of Ernie Ball strap locks, the original truss rod tool, and the original hardshell case.
