Among the last of the original Hollowbody I line to come from PRS, this 2009 Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Hollowbody Spruce is a high-end, American-made guitar from the PRS Core series. It is distinguished by its carved spruce top, sustain-enhancing bridge block, and onboard piezo pickup which can be blended with the traditional humbucking pickups. Our 2009 example is in excellent condition with a small nick on the body and a small blemish under the finish on the back of the guitar, and is otherwise free of any damage, breaks, or repairs with superb playability. The carved spruce top over mahogany back+sides gives the guitar an articulate yet airy tone that is perfect for picking or strumming with powerful sustain and resonance. Thanks to the trio of pickups which can be blended for more acoustic or more electric leaning tones, this guitar is able to deliver vast tonal variety with excellent bass and treble definition. Featuring a wide fat neck profile that perfectly blends handfit and playability, this guitar will feel great to most players; especially when you consider its extremely light weight of 4lb 14oz.
