This Mexico-made 2010 Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS is in great shape with classic Fender playability and a nice blend of modern & vintage tone thanks to the HSS pickup configuration. The body does show some wear with one nick breaking the finish (pictured) but is otherwise free of any breaks or repairs. Coming out of the 2008 economic crisis, this 2010 model is from an era in Fender's history where they were trying to improve the quality and perception of their import guitars with this Strat sporting a lightly figured alder body, nicely figured maple neck, lush rosewood fingerboard, and locking tuners in addition to the Fender electronics for a truly professional instrument. Coming in at a nominal 7lb 10oz, this guitar won't break your back and delivers excellent sustain and resonance which are further accentuated by the trio of pickups for a highly usable fundamental tone that takes well to most pedals and amps. A great player, this guitar is perfect for beginners and intermediate players alike and includes a hardshell case with the original documentation and adjustment wrenches.
